Here's about 20 wings on the mini max for comparison. 2 dozen would have fit, just happened to have 20.

The mini max looks pretty sweet. I'm pretty jealous of your competition setup. I want to start getting into competitions as well. Good luck this weekend!1 large BGE, Spartanburg SC

How many years will they let you "sandbag" against the little "backyard" teams?
What's up with the trailered pit?

It is a new set up this year Smitty. It makes it easier to get in and out easily.

What's this "sandbagging" you speak of?

Two questions. the hole below the fire grate going to the bottom is that larger than the old small (is the fire grate the size of the small or Large)? Second question is the lower opening larger than the small, more in line with Large? ThanksSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

Last question: I put High-Que's on my Larges, Small (before selling it) and on the Mini. Your thoughts if the MM would benefit from one?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I suppose you could use one for the L on the MM. I can tell you the MM held temp great and we had it going indirect for most of the day yesterday. I was impressed with how well it held temp. We never had an air flow issue
