Timing will be an issue. I was thinking next May before everyone starts their summer vacation. I'm really open. I don't mind spearheading it unless someone else wants to but it'd be nice to have a small group to figure this thing out. Yes, an absolutely beautiful area. I'm at Clifftops. In fact, @henapple, if the timing's right, I've got the perfect place...clubhouse on the lake, pavilion for egging, kitchen inside. Easily fit 50 people and eggs. That's if you want to leave the 'boro and go slumming...Signal Mountain, TN

What about Chattanooga? It is a midway point between Atlanta, Nashville, and Knoxville. Might get a better turnout.

If I do lead out on this Murfreesboro would just be easier. There's gonna be a decent amount of leg work involved. If not, then I'm open to suggestions. I live near Memphis and would love to come depending on time of year.I work in the Ag.business so May is a tough month to get away but that being said I would still try to come.

We've kinda thrown this around for about a year. Ideas?
Nov, Dec, Jan, Dec....too cold-holidays
March...Salado
April...possibly still cold?
May...kids ball games but good weather. ?
June...same + vacations but good weather ?
July-Aug, vacation, start of school. ..hot as h
Sept - Oct. ..football but that can be worked out with some wide screens...great weather...probably. Right now we're having 70 degree days and 45 degree nights.

We can fix the date tentatively, see how weather shapes up a week or so prior to and then give the go ahead.

Ok...after @Fred19Flintstone telling me when to have a pre-fest "business meeting" we'll go with Nov 8th. Gives a few weeks to sort out plans. It will, of course be contingent on the weather but we should know ahead and go put it on the calendar. It'd be great to have some local eggers attend...@shotgunal. ...wish you could make it.
