Trying a seafood rub on ribs. Years and years ago I lived in Potlatch Idaho for about a year. No one believed that was a real place with such a name. Many of my family attended the University Of Idaho, I lasted one semester <g>. So here are the rub pictures, and I added two pickled jalepenos that I squeezed an sliced over the rub. It is in the fridge until tomorrow mid day!

The jalapenos are a neat touch.
And if there can be a place called Pocatello, I believe you about Potlatch.

Well.....if they taste half as good as they look then I'd call it a success.

Great results, but I will probably not do it again soon I like the traditional rib taste and I thought the Potlatch rub was too 'out there' for me at this time. The meat was very tender and the flavor good. The heat from the peppers was subtle, no burning lips or mouth but a mild sweat, perfect! (I will add jalepenos to rib cooks in the future.) I can't wait to try the remaining ribs after I clear my nose of the charcoal fumes. My wife loved the ribs so I am content....
