I have been staring at this new MBGE for a month now . It has set in my living room for about a week until SWMBO made me move it. I guess it was kinda like some ceramic shrine or something but it did look so cool and clean. Today I will fire it up for its first cook. Loaded with Ozark Oak I got from @hapster. Chicken Wings first, rubbed in Swamp Venom. Also Rutland in place from the start. Now ready for some uninterrupted grill in' ! Pics to follow. Go Vols!!

Can't help notice, it looks like there's no gasket on the top half of the egg and a fiberglass one on the bottom??? Is this the way the new eggs come now? Obviously this is a brand new egg. Btw, you will love your new egg. I haven't made a bad meal from it yet.

I changed to a Rutland from the start. They are almost indestructible .Southern, Tennessee

After staring at this for a month I found that the raised grid from my large will fit perfect in the medium and raise me up to felt line.

Wings turned out great. Bacon wrapped mushrooms were good but I think I will use half a piece of bacon per mushroom next time , bacon was a little overpowering for me. Topped them with some Blues Hog ...pretty good!
