Mini clean burn

I've had the mini for more than two years and I've never done a clean burn. The CI grill was getting mighty nasty. Worked like a champ. The mini looks almost new. (Pic is after one cook.)

How often do you guys do a clean burn on your mini?
(The Nomex gasket held up well.)

In 3+ years, probably done a dedicated clean once and came close to a clean burn baking pizzas a couple of times. Don't think I've ever got it as clean as yours looks. just my eggperience here, but you said you left your cast iron grate in to clean it. That is what prevented your dome from getting even cleaner, plus probably saved your Nomex this time.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
