Cast Iron Grill Grate

<p />I have seen a cast iron grill grate in some pictures on this site. Where Can I get one, I looked on the BGE site, can't seem to find one. Is this preferrable to the enameled grill grates. Any pro's and cons would help. thanks for you help.

I can't quite determine what size BGE you have there, but you can buy a BGE cast iron from your dealer, but only for a large - though he may have to order it for you. This is the grate I made for my small - and I prefer it over the original grate by far!

Cap' em Bob, I also got mine from BGE. It is great. I use it for any meat I am cooking. I get great grill marks on steaks. Also open space is not as wide a wire grate and it holds my loosly packed burgers better. FF
