Sometimes in SE TX they run specials for $2.99/lb. Choices tend to be limited. And of late, it's hard to find one I'd be willing to buy.

I have several options in Colorado Springs. I have a butcher that sells CAB packer briskets at $6.99 / lb. Another butcher sells 3lb flats for almost $9.50 / pound. I got my latest choice 9lb packer from Wal Mart at about $3.79 per pound.RRP said:I know we live all over the country and some of us are closer to cattle production, farming etc, but with the way beef prices have gone up recently what are you now paying for briskets and please state where you are buying them...butcher shop, big discount stores like Costco or SAMs, grocery store, local meat packer etc. Thanks in advance! Well briskets at Sam's is still $4.98/ pound and $7.98 @ our local market in KC. Better quality at Sam's I think to.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
