My mother inlaw was supposed to be taking us out to dinner tonight at Carrabbas. She called 10 minutes before she was supposed to be here and cancelled. Said she had a sour stomach but I'm pretty sure she just didn't want to come out in the rain LOL! So a quick change of plans, a fast trip to the store and I'm on the egg! Pork loin with Dizzy Dust, veggies with Shakin The Tree and home made bruschetta with garden tomatoes. Not bad for a quickie!!

I would actually prefer the 7-11. It is cheaper and it isn't trying to pass itself off as good food.LBGE

Next time i would do the invite to the house and then if she cancels then good chow is a guarantee with no late starts to the store. Plus you can easily save 100.00Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

@Jstroke She has a standing invitation every Sunday to the house. She is actually my wife's step mom. Her mother passed when we were 21. My wife's dad passed two years ago and she just doesn't get out at all any more so we are happy to have her come over. She truly enjoys everything we cook. It's nice every once in a while when she takes us out but even nicer when she brings over steak for me to cook!
