I'm 12 hours into a 225/230 indirect grill temp bone in pork butt and have very little dripping but it is burnt, I did use spacers and I am hoping it doesn't taint the flavor of the pork? I'm in the stall at 176 with 3 to 4 hours left on the 8 1/2 and 7 1/2 pounders. Any Thoughts on the taste!

It's also a good idea to put some spacers under the drip pan to dissipate heat. Use foil balls, crushed beer cans, rocks, etc to raise drip pan up a tad.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.
