Adding an egg to my current Large, but should I get a Large or XL?

I bought the XL to begin with. For smaller cooks I just push the charcoal to the back. Don't need reducer ring or angle brackets. It will stay there. This setup gives me direct (in back) and indirect (in front) cooking surfaces on same cook. I love the real estate for parties, 18" pizzas and smoking. When smoking, it is nice to have the capacity for large amounts of charcoal for overnight cooks. Here I use my woo2 indirect setup. I don't think you use more charcoal cause you can fill 1/2 or 1/3 to the back and easily cook for five. Then again, I also don't have a large to compare with. Congrats on your XL!

Good idea!Beefer said:Get a XL with a AR /woo2. That's what I have. It can hold alot of food.
Done. I'm giving back the plate setter that comes with it for store credit.
