Okay, I''ll look lame and ask...what the heck is a Runza?XL, JR, and more accessories than anyone would ever need near Olympia, WA

@PNWFoodie, according to Wikipedia - A runza (also called a bierock, fleischkuche, or Kraut Pirok) is a yeast dough bread pocket with a filling consisting of beef, pork, cabbage, or sauerkraut, onions, and seasonings. They are baked in various shapes such as a half-moon, rectangle, round (bun), square, or triangle. In Nebraska, the runza is usually baked in a rectangular shape. The bierocks of Kansas, on the other hand, are generally baked in the shape of a bun.
Also known as Cabbage Buns, or Cabbage Pockets where I'm at. Runza is also restaurant chain here in Nebraska with a few in Colorado, Kansas and Iowa. They serve of course the runza which can come with either melted cheese inside, swiss cheese and mushrooms or plain. For a time there was a "Customize" your Runza and you could put a whole bunch of stuff in them. They also do hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, onion rings, fries, "Frings"...
They are a staple around here. I have family who requests to go to Runza when they come to town.
I just got two heads of cabbage out of the garden and I'm thinking a batch of them sounds good and baking them in the Egg. We usually make them and freeze them. You can pull them out and warm them quickly in the microwave, or rebake.

@PNWFoodie This was my 2nd cook/bake ever on my LBGE. The pics are not great by any measure. Nor did I list ingredients, prep or cook process etc. My next ones rest assured will be thorough. :-)
