I'll be the first one to admit that I love grilling...I love grilling the long slow cooks or the ones that aren't super long but a good 3-4 hours. However, there really is nothing like doing a good ol' fashion dinner with the wife and the parents that consists of some super easy laid back cooking. What is your favorite good ol' fashion cook? Mine was tonight brats, baby red potatoes, and some string beans! It was super relaxing and enjoyable!!!

It's not usually an egg cook for me, but we try to do brinner (breakfast for dinner) about once a month in our house. I love making buttermilk pancakes and I've done it so many times that I can do it pretty much on autopilot.LBGEMenasha, WI

Anything on the egg! Love them all. Short and fast, low and slow, searing, pizza, wok. Well having grown up in a german family I'd have to say any German sausages. If I had to pick one id say weiswurst. It's a Bavarian veal and pork white sausage. I'd never cook it on an egg though.
Get water heated to a simmer and remove from the heat source. Drop the links in the water. Let sit for 5 min until hot, then plate.
Serve with german sweet mustard and a pretzel and you're in heaven (just make sure to peal the casing before eating). As an added bonus it's sometimes served for breakfast and is considered a hangover cure!! -
Heck, big thick pork chops are a simple, wonderful cook. I always buy whole loins on sale and cut chops as thick as I like. Chops and potatoes are another quick easy supper thats hard to beat.

That's like asking who's your favorite child. Lol. That's a tough one. But, my fav would be brisket for the L&S genre. I can't really think of much that I don't care for off the egg. I like L&S, high temp pizza etc, baking, everything.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Its still just amazing and so gratifying that I can just grab something as simple as a boneless chicken breast and have it prepped, cooked, and on the plate in less than thirty minutes and it tastes phenomenal. Love my eggs.

This is a tough question for me. For a fast cook, I think a spatchcock is hard to beat. For low-n-slow, I think pork butt because it smells so damn good and tastes even better - plus it's easy. Neither one require much fiddling and the results are always crowd pleasers.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

Mine is very simple, homemade biscuits from scratch with whipped butter, jam or grandmas molasses for breakfast.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
