The top from my egg fell off and broke. I believe I have all of the pieces and can potentially glue them, but any experience with this?

Several people on here have. I believe they used jb weld. Others have used it as a reason to get one of those stainless caps- they say it snuffs the fire too. I don't know. Maybe someone with one will chime in.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Sorry for your loss - accidents happen... Rather than try to glue it back together buy yourself a SmokeWare stainless steel cap. It replaces that ceramic top plus your cast iron Daisey plus let's you dial in your temperature much easier!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I fixed mine once with my phone and a credit card. You can't even tell where it broke.

When I'm not Eggin', I'm scootin' Eggin' and 'cueing from Temecula Ca; an hour from San Diego, an hour and five minutes from Palm Springs, and an hour and a half from Los Angeles (yeah, right. With THAT traffic?) -

If you go the Smokeware Stainless Steel cap route, most would recommend applying the felt gasket to the inside of the cap instead of the egg itself.Large BGE, Mini BGEMorgantown, PA

@NewSouthernGal where are ya located? Most Ace Hardware stores have them here but, that may or may not be because Smokeware is based out of Jax Beaches. You can always order direct.
