Brisket Prices

So I am out near Memphis visiting my sister and decided to go to a few stores and check out the meat prices. A packer at Sams Club was $3.48/lb and a flat at Costco was $6.29/lb. Packers are going for $4.99/lb at a local shop back home in Maryland. At $3.48/lb I might pick up one at Sams, freeze it and bring it back home with me.
I'm just curious what everyone else is paying where they're at.

Costco prime packers (on a random basis) $3.89/# now (was $2.99/# in Feb) . Flats in Kroger $5.99/# and been there for the last 4-5 months. Surprised flats haven't moved.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I don't get why flats are more/lb than packers. Anyone know?They/Them

I think because packers are untrimmed - less work for the butcher.LBGE; Adjustable Rig

I guess $3.48/lb doesn't sound too bad! I'm going to pick one up tomorrow.

5.32 in Alberta. You don't need a GPS to know when you've crossed the boarder into Canada. When the prices randomly jump 20 to 30% for no apparent reason, just say, "gosh darn it, did I accidentally drive into Canada"?2x Kamado Joe Big Joes + Cyber Q Wifi + Themapen - Pizza Steel + BGE Paella Pan + BGE Ash Tools + Woo2 + Open Bar Fire Ring
