I survived hurricane Arthur

Spending the week on the NC outer banks. Sadly the beach house does not have a useable grill :( Lots of folks left yesterday to avoid the storm. We rode it out-no problems, my first hurricane. Wind like a freight train all night, but over at 8 AM. Will be back on the beach shortly.

    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

    No, the surge here was at low tide. Issues further south though.

    We're just getting some leftover boomers here in NEFL. Glad y'all didn't take a direct hit that would've done much more than a loss of power. Not trying to downplay it. But, it could always be worse (know what I mean).
