I still have the doors to finish and will post some photos once everything is done but I couldn't wait any longer to put up my sign. There is a story behind the whole "Chef Awesome" thing. Can't remember if I already shared but......

So every time we have family over the wife and I do all the house cleaning and food prep together. I do the cooking so by the time most of our guest arrive they usually see me going a hundred miles an hour finishing everything up. Even though I have repeatedly given my wife credit as well when receiving compliments she lost it the last time we had people over after I received all the accolades. As we waved the last person out the door my wife turns to me and in her best high pitched whiny voice she said " oh chef awesome your food was so awesome you are so awesome chef awesome thank you soooo much for making us such an awesome dinner"! I laughed so hard at her I had tears running down my cheeks and couldn't talk. It took her a minute or two to join me but she did laugh. So I told her the next day I was going to order chefs jackets with Chef Awesome on the front pocket of mine and Serving Up Awesome on the back, for her it would say Sou Chef Awesome on the front pocket and Supporting Chef Awesome on the back. Well she didn't feel we would get our money's worth out of them so I had this made instead.

@NPHuskerFL‌ You are correct on the cut, it is straight steel and I'm not gonna paint it. I'm just gonna let it rust a little :D

Definitely wouldn't paint. I think weathering is just what the Dr ordered.Maybe after a little corrosion hit it with a lite clear coat (or not). Either way man it's very cool!

Thanks again! Yes that's the plan, a light coat of surface rust then seal it up with a clear coat before it gets too chunky.

Nice sign, and incident well handled.  I need to take lessons.  Miss Lisa typically works much harder than me on the entertainment detail, but who gets the credit?

It's funny how the whole family now asks what's going on the Egg before they come over. Pizza is one of the favorites.
