USDA prime strip loin from @pantsypants , sliced 1 1/2 inch thick, vac sealed and froze. Threw it direct from freezer into DIY SV for two hours, pat dry, brushed with oil, S&P, seared one minute each side on 1/4" DIY baking sheet heated on induction cooktop. Served with boiled and strained bag juice seasoned with garlic powder, S&P. No egg involved, hence OT.@Sammi you're right. The battery-less old UPS powers the low voltage PID and houses the relay too, the existing outlets also came in handy! Two outlets are wired as 'always on' and two are PID controlled.canuckland
