Old English favourite

Thought I would try a good old fashioned "Toad In The Hole" Browned, part cooked the sausages first, then put them in the batter, at 450f for about half hour. The smaller one came out well, and wasn't burnt underneath, although the large one was a bit burnt on the bottom . Still got eaten, nothing left! imageimageimage Nothing better on a cold night here in Oz.

We were looking for a place for lunch. Being a Police Officer I saw three Police Officers guarding a building. I asked them where to go for lunch. They said do you want to go where we eat or tourists eat?. I told them where they eat and that's why I approached them. They gave me directions to a great Pub. As I approached there was a sign on the door......Dogs are welcome, children are not. Didn't even have to step inside to know I was at the right place. Entered and a bunch of old men sipping Pints with their dogs laying under the tables......great place.
