Flat iron steak, 600 degrees, 2.5 minutes each side. Wrapped in foil for 5 minutes. Sliced thin.
Grilled red and yellow peppers, sliced and diced.
Sautéed onions on the stove.
Topped with sour cream and cilantro.
Also grilled the flour tortillas for a few seconds on each side. Good eats.

Good stuff. I love making fajitas on the egg. I use a wok for the peppers and onions.

man I really need a wok and spider. So versatile!! Great looking cook

Doesn't the charcoal get too hot with the lid wide open with the wok? I know you want it very hot for stir fry but that seems like it would get crazy hot.Dearborn MI

Crazy hot is the goal with woks.

I use my high BTU power burner on high on my stove with mine but I'm sure the charcoal gets a lot hotter than that. Not sure how much hotter I'd want it than that.Dearborn MI

Depends on what you're doing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wok#Wok_hei

I ordered mine from California, some famous Wok maker but there is wood on the handles so I'm sure that would catch fire on the egg.Dearborn MI

Yep, thats it........funny story, got a great wok for a wedding gift 21 years ago. Used it for about 18 years and gave it away as it was kinda big and I have a small kitchen. Missed it and bought another one from her LOL......Gave it to a girl at work just starting out. To this day I haven't seen such a good wok and it would be perfect for the egg LOLDearborn MI

@SmokeytheEGG ...looks great. I use Stubbs beef marinade on flat iron...a real Carne asada type taste. Now you got me craving fajitas.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

Smokey Did you throw the chicken in with the vegetables towards the end of the cook?
-
All of these look great. I did some last night following APL's recipe with flank steak with the cilantro butter. Made wonderful dinner last night and with some scrambled eggs a wonderful breakfast burrito this morning!Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
