A while back someone shared a website for round cooking steels for making burgers etc. I lost the link. Does anyone have it and know what I'm talking about? It was a flat round steel that sat right on the grate. Thanks in advance, Ken

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I've got a 15" I never took out of the box that I won't be using if anyone's interested. I bought it during the group buy before I even bought my egg and went with an XL egg so I have room for a bigger steel.

How about a flat Lodge panSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd.

What was the final verdict on cooking pizza on this steel vs. a pizza stone? I remember awhile back there was a fairly large number of people doing a group buy for the steel.

@KenfromMI - the 15" is perfect. I have one. Check with @Mark11.mark11 said:I've got a 15" I never took out of the box that I won't be using if anyone's interested. I bought the Baking Steel on the Group Buy. I use it for pizza all the time...don't use my pizza stone anymore. I have yet to use it as a griddle yet,

I want to find a way to grill two pizzas at once so if I do I'll have the stone and the steel. What else do you guys use the steel for?Dearborn MI

Anything you'd cook on a flat top griddle. Fajitas and burgers are a favorite for me.KenfromMI said:I want to find a way to grill two pizzas at once so if I do I'll have the stone and the steel. What else do you guys use the steel for?

I really bought this for a White Castle Copy Cat recipe that calls for pressing the meat in a square and baking in a baking pan...........I know, I know but people love those nasty little steamed things and I'm dying to give the recipe a try for my buddies after some beers LOLDearborn MI
