Plate Setter

I dropped, and broke, my plate setter for my large BGE....I was looking on Amazon and they are priced at around $100.  Does anyone know of a good site to find a BGE plate setter that might be a little cheaper.....thanks....dj

Check out Ceramicgrillstore.com.  For less than $100, you can get a pswoo2 and stone that will increase your options for both direct and indirect cooks.  Or an AR might be in your future.  So many choices, so little money...

Just don't replace it. Put that towards an adj rig.

I also went the route of the AR / Spider and ceramic stone. Very versatile.
A little more expensive but options galore.

If something happens to mine I would go the Ceramic Grill Store Adjustable Rig route.

Put your money towards an AR from ceramic grill store. You can cook with many options. I did that from the get go and don't regret it. About to use mine as we speak for spatchcock chickens and on top bacon wrapped chicken nuggets that I will sauce towards the end.

I would get an AR from ceramic grill store. In fact, I did. Didn't break my platesetter, but I wanted it for rib cooks, bilevel cooking, raised direct. That would be my advice. It's God telling you to go with the AR!
