My girls absolutely love pizza on the grill! Only problem is the little ones are stuck on cheese and cheese pepperoni. The big girl is now stuck on white pizza. I need to get back to the meatza meatza pie with everything on it!

Thank you!True but the cave man inside craves that heavy, hard to cook pie loaded with sausage, bacon, beef, mushrooms, onions and banana peppers! When she heads out of town in July with the little ones I'm grilling every night and a cave man pizza is on the menu. Mcmac, it's easier and better than anything you can buy. I've tried a bunch of recipes for dough and they have all turned out better than one's I've purchased from two different Italian Markets. My last cook I used one that someone posted on here that they used for cast iron deep dish. I used the recipe and just used it like I normally do on my stone and they turned out great.Dearborn MI

Okay... time to find a recipe and fire up the kitchen aid mixer (hope it can handle the dough). Good crust is the key (for me) to a great pizza. I tried to send you a link but it said it has to be approved first. The last dough I tried was from serious eats. It was called fool proof deep dish pizzas however i used it just as a standard dough on a stone and not a cast iron deep dish.Dearborn MI
