I will be smoking a butt on Saturday and bringing to the beach on Sunday to be served for dinner. Drive is Atlanta to Seaside (6hrs). Any have suggestions on transporting as well as reheating? Was thinking of pulling and placing in Hot/Cold bag.
Atlanta, GA

Pull it, optionally add some finishing sauce, put it in foodsaver bag and seal (or big ziplock bag(s) if you don't have one). Make it as flat as you can so it heats up fast. Throw it in the fridge, keep on ice in a cooler until you get there then either throw it in a crock pot out of the bag or hot water in the bag.

Took 5 butts from Florida to TN. 12 hour drive. Wrapped them whole in double layer of foil, kept in cooler on ice until we got there then into the fridge at the rental house. The next day I fired up the over in the house re-heated while still wrapped then pulled. Everyone raved about how good it was, even a couple of people who told me they do not like pulled pork.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
