First time cooking cedar-planked salmon with honey glaze. I got this receipt from the Big Green Egg cookbook. It turned out excellent.

I love cedar planked salmon. So easy to make and never fails to please. I cover mine with a light coating of olive oil and sprinkle on some of the Tastylicks Salmon seasoning. Out them on the boards and wham, easy meal.Large BGE. Southeast Pennsylvania. @BrianObst

This recipe was one of the first that I did when I got my egg. Have done it many times since my significant other who does not really like salmon says that it is the best she has had. I prefer smoked low and slow but since this is the only way she will eat salmon this is the one I go most of the time.

If you liked that honey glaze, you should try this recipe below. easy to make and it is heavenly. i now make extra glaze and keep it in the fridge for spontaneous salmon cooks or just tasting with a finger. oh.. and if you also make those mustard mashed potatoes, they are spot on too!enjoyWoodstock, GA
