    I got nothing.

Can you go into your router and see what devices are hooked into the wifi?

Just making sure the router is seeing cyberQ.

It's not showing up in the list of devices for my router.

Edit - does DHCP need to be turned on or off on the cyberq? Or does that make a difference?

Wouldn't connect at all when I turned it on. Ugh. I was really excited when it finally connected in infrastructure mode. Now I'm almost back at square one since it won't load a webpage correctly. Appreciate all of the help.

Actually, I would go back to square 1.  Start over.  Reset as per the instructions, to get back to a known state.  Then go thru either the instructions in the new manual, or walk thru it on the Naked Whiz web site.  If you are not showing up in your router's client list, there is something wrong.  It doesn't take long to start over, and you'll become a guru in short order.

@tksmoke‌ is totally correct. There is a way to completely reset the device to factory settings.

Sorry - it's very simple - hold down all 4 arrow keys at once, and after a short time it will say RESETTING EEPROM.  That's it.  At that point it will be back in the Adhoc mode, and you can connect to it from your computer or phone.  Then follow the instructions in the new Rev. 2 CyberQ user guide, or on the Naked Whiz site (or both).

I reset the router to factory settings. I reset the cyberq to factory settings. I followed naked whiz directions and it won't connect via infrastructure with DHCP turned on, but it shows up on my list of devices connected to the router and assigns it an IP address in the range.

When I turn off DHCP, it connects via infrastructure, but it won't show up in my list of devices connected to my router and it gives me an IP address outside of my range.

    Any thoughts @tksmoke @TheShaytoon @DMW ??

@fence0407 If you can see an IP address assigned to the CyberQ from the router's UI, then the CyberQ has associated with the router.

Is the CyberQ indicating it's not connected when DHCP is turned on? Do you have a Windows PC or a Mac? The next step is trying to ping the CyberQ from your PC using the IP address you see assigned to the CyberQ.

    Edit: Windows PC

    1. I am able to connect in infrastructure mode when DHCP is turned OFF:
        a) When I type the IP address it gives me on the cyberq into a web browser, nothing shows up and it times out.
        b) The IP address it gives me is OUTSIDE of my range settings on my router.
        c) The cyberq does not show up in my list of connected devices to my router.
    2. When I turn DHCP ON:
        a) The cyberq will NOT connect via infrastructure mode.
        b) However, it DOES show up as a connected device to my router and assigns an IP address that is WITHIN the range.

OK, let's keep DHCP on. What is indicating that it is not connected? If the router is seeing it as a connected device and showing it has leased an IP address to the device, is the CyberQ indicating it cannot connect?

Correct - With DHCP ON - the cyberq says "No Network" and the 4 lights on the unit DO NOT flash (like they normally would when it is connected. But, the cyberq is showing up on my list of connected devices!

@fence0407 Hmm...that is odd. If you want to try with DHCP disabled, you would need to manually set an IP address on your CyberQ that is within range of your network, but not currently in use by any other device. I don't have a CyberQ, but I'm guessing there is a way to manually set an address using the keypad on it.

Here's how you can pick an IP address to use. If your router is 192.168.1.1 and your router is assigning device addresses like 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.25, choose an address that is something like 192.168.1.254. I would give that a shot and see if it works. If it has an address outside of your range, you won't be able to connect to it from your PC.

@DMW - I assigned the cyberq an IP address within my range and.......IT WORKED! It pulls up the cyberq webpage when I type in the assigned IP address. Now I need to set up port forwarding and all will be right in the world. I really appreciate the help!

@fence0407 - I hate to tell you this, but the No Network display is normal. It is just a timing thing.  It will connect and be online shortly afterwards.  Anyhow, looks like you have it now, and non DHCP is really the way to go anyhow.  Port forwarding can be a bit of a challenge, but all you are doing is forwarding any request for a web page (port 80) to your CyberQ.  My Belkin Router called it Virtual Server, which threw me off a bit.  Ask away if you have any problems.

Yeah, the no network thing is normal...it takes another minute or so for it to start flashing.

@DMW  You are the man.  Thanks for jumping in and helping out.

@fence0407 enjoy the thing connecting for a couple of days before you tackle the internet connection thing.  I know how long you have been struggling to get it going.

If you turn off the CyberQ does your WiFi speed improve after its been off for a few minutes?

    @TheShaytoon‌ lol!

@DMW‌ the WiFi speed is slow even when the cyberq is turned off.

Sorry for the delayed response. Just got home from the GA Mountain Eggfest!

Edit: now our phones and laptops won't connect at all to the new wireless network I set up. I'll try restarting the router again...
