OT, smiley faces

I am a computer idiot but I want to put the smiley face images on my posts. How do I do it.Thanks!

Edit. I tried to post a picture. Just click on the smiley face on the typing box and an annoying number of smiley faces will show up. Pick one and click on it.

Ok, now that I have the smiley thing figured out, how do I change

my profile picture.

On the right side of your screen under "My Profile" click your name. It will take you to a new screen. Put your mouse over the smiley face and it should say "Click to Change Image". Then just upload whatever you want to be your new icon.
