I just bought a Demi Sous Vide and need to get a sealer, thanks for your opinions in advance.

Food Saver is the most commonly used and is perfect for most home use. If you want to spend the bucks look into chamber sealers, which is a type, not a brand.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

I'm still using a (10+ year old now) foodsaver. Basic model, I use it all the time and it works great.Packerland, Wisconsin

I've been using a Foodsaver for about 4yrs now. No problems. The Foodsaver bags on the other hand, problematic and inconsistent. I prefer Vacustrip bags. Nary a problem.

I wanted the chamber sealer so bad but in the end just coldn't justify the cost and size for my use. I decided on the Vacmaster Pro 305. Probably overkill for my use but it is a workhorse.
