New Table

Built this table for my buddy back in the fall. Another friend made the counter top. There was a delay in making the counter top for a bunch of reasons, but in the end it turned out great!

Table is made of White Oak and stained with Sikkens Window and Door stain. I am thrilled with the results and wish it was my table.

Thanks. He hasn't put the drawer front on yet. That's why there is a gap at the top of the drawer.

Do ya have a shot of it with a BGE in it. Curious of the tolerances (clearance) gap to granite top. Beautiful table @cortguitarman‌

@NPHuskerFL‌ the egg will be put in in two weeks. My buddy is going on vacation and won't see him until he gets back. The counter top is actually concrete. It has yellow, brown, and green glass in it. The hole size was taken from the Big Green Egg web site. My table was built using he same specs and I have about 1/2" of clearance around my egg.

@cortguitarman‌...So you built it in the Fall and it is still eggless? That's just sad ;-). Job well done man!

@NPHuskerFL‌ yes. The guy who made the counter top is a snow ski instructor and the epic winter allowed him to ski 7 days per week for 5 months. The guy who owns re table travels a lot and the two of them couldn't get together to plan something out. We are all friends so you know how that goes. Friends only pay for materials. Other customers actually help turn a profit. The paying customers get done first.

Hmmmm...yup I know exactly how it is. I'm an HVAC/R, foodservice hot side & cold side restaurant repair tech so I tend to lend a helping hand when I can to friends and prefer to only charge for materials because...well they're friends. Family...they get charged double (JK) =))

@crf158‌ as much as I'd love to build you a table, I don't have time. I am a teacher and normally I'd jump at a chance to do a project like this in the summer but I'm putting wall to wall hardwood in my house this summer along with custom built ins so I need to focus my energy on that.

However, I know my buddy would love to set you up with a counter top. PM me if you want his contact info.
