Home Made Marinade for Brisket?

Hey all, I am looking for some suggestions on marinades that work well with briskets. I have made three briskets to date and all turned out well with John Henry's Brisket Marinade and Brisket Rub, but I do not have any access to any of these tonight and need to get this baby done up and ready for an overnight in the fridge. Any help on recipes would be appreciated

Thanks for the response, I was curious as to whether you have ever used regular mustard to create a crust and help hold the spices on? I have been told this method works really well for brisket, just curious as to if anyone else has tried this method and what are the results?Large BGE 2011, XL BGE 2015, Mini Max 2015, and member of the "North of the Border Smokin Squad" Canadian Outdoor Chef from London, Ontario, Canada

I've done mustard on one and dry on another side by side on pork butt. We couldn't tell the difference at all on the final product.Large BGE and Medium BGE
