I have been trying to get a hold of a Woo3 for my XL since thanksgiving and as I understand there have been some production issue and they have been unavailable. Since the first time I stopped in to pick one up Joellen took my info and has touched base with me three times. Today she let me know that they probably wouldn't get them even when they are back in production and suggested I go straight to Ceramic Grill Store to purchase when it's available. I am all for supporting the local business when possible so the web is not my first stop. As a side issue I misplaced my receipt for the Egg and have been worried about any warranty issues in the future. Today when speaking with Joellen I asked if they might have a copy and ten minutes later she emailed it to me! Thank you Dizzy Pig for great customer service! It is a rare and difficult thing to come by today and you do it well!!

    I know right! They are all awesome, Chris, Joellen, Mad Max ....... They all rock! Walking into their store is like nasal nirvana! The smell of all the fresh ground spices is amazing! Going to take a few more class's with Chris this summer to. It was truly amazing how much I learned in one beginners class with him!

    Chris is a great guy and the people he hires reflects that.  I had the pleasure of meeting them all last November after I attended Chris' competition school.  Chris and his team have built a great company and will have my continued support.  One of the things on my bucket list is to go cook at one of their Dizzyfests.

    I went to Dizzy Pig in Virginia yesterday for the first time.  I was like a kid in a candy store.  Joellen let me sample every rub and BBQ sauce that they had in the store.  It was such a fun day.  I ended up getting a backlit thermapen, Dizzy Dust coarse, Swamp Venom, Raging River, Red Eye Express and 3 sampler packs for gifts!

    They are having a Dizzy Fest on June 7th.  I am really going to try to make that. 

    Such a great, store with great people.

    I feel like pinching myself! I'm very lucky to have a job that I love, thank you all so much for your kind words. All of us at Dizzy Pig headquarters love what we do and Chris is a great guy to work for too!

    Manassus is only 2679 miles from here.  Google maps says only 38 hours driving time...Wish I could make the Dizzy Fest.

    @Nature_Boy You should be very proud of your work. You have introduced my family, and more specifically my children, to a world of flavor that we never knew existed. 

    My children will not eat a steak no matter how expensive the cut unless it has been rubbed with Red Eye Express. 

    My 12 year old daughter eats ketchup on everything. The first time I used Red Eye Express on her steak she took one bite and said "Daddy I don't even want ketchup this time". 

    That is a big compliment to your craft!

    Thank you John. One of the things I never expected about this crazy career path was that so many kids would be introduced to new flavors. Being exposed to these flavors, and paying attention at an early age will result in amazingly sharp palates as they grow up. I've been hearing so many cool stories about kids getting interested in cooking when their folks cook with dizzy. That means a great deal to me! Very much appreciate the kind words you all.

    I live a few miles from Dizzy Pig , and they are the primary reason I bought an Egg. I feel like any thing I need/have to ask they are right there to support me. They also make my favorite rub (Pineapple Head) and sell my favorite sauce (Pellet Envy's The Next Big Thing) so I try to go once or twice a month for refills and wood chunks. 

    If you travel to DC to do the tourist thing it's a must stop on the way in - it's right off I-66 if you are coming in from the west.

    @AmericanFlannel‌ They are the reason I bought mine too! I went in and spent an hour with Max on the first trip and then went back without the family on another Saturday to pick his brain some more. I ended up saving a bunch of money buying a demo egg at Max's suggestion, didn't even know such a thing existed and they could have taken my money that day. It's a store full of great people!

    I agree with everyone, Dizzy Pig is awesome! I've never been to the store and do not have a dealer close but have ordered online in the past, and they take the order that day and ship it out very quickly. I usually have it in a couple of days! I've used Dizzy Dust and Swamp Venom and love it. I just ordered the other day Raising The Steaks and a few other ones and can't wait to try it!
