DO top for reverse searing

Tonight I really wanted some steak so I decided to pick up a strip steak. I've never seared one on CI because I don't have much for CI. However, on the ride home I remembered seeing someone using the top of they're DO to cook something on. So I dropped the spider in and placed the top upside down on it. I've got to say it was the best steak I've cooked on my egg ( and I know I can still do better). Can't wait to eat another steak soon. I will have pics next time.

Start hittin' the antique shops. You'll wind up with more CI than you'll ever need!  :D

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

DO top make a great pan for deep dish pizza. The other place to find inexpensive CI are Thrift Shops like Goodwill or Salvation Army.
