Complete Family. XL L M S & mini

I just got my XL a few weeks ago and am working on my better half to get some toys for it. I still have my WMS so I can't see needing another one yet. The XL can cook a lot of food and I haven't had a chance to max it out yet. Looking forward to it soon. If I was to get another one it would be a mini so I can take it other places to show people what they are missing. Enjoy it and have fun.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Hallfamily, you might consider a different nest for the mini.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Lit, let me know how the kj jr and Minimax compare when u get it
-
@lit would love to hear more of your thought on issues you had with the medium..I'm in the market for a second egg and was leaning that way.Making the neighbors jealous in Pleasant Hill, Ia one cook at a time...

I use mini and small the most because usely just wife and I.I use mini for steaks, burgers and chops.I use small for wings,pizzas and small tenderloins,medium for whole chickens,whole sticks of Bologna and skillet cookies.The large for larger butts and shoulders and hams.If I have large groups that's when I use xl so if cooking steaks r burgers they can all go on at once plus its great for several racks of ribs r 3 to 4 whole lobsters

I change according to party size, sometimes I use two at a time. Each egg cooks differently. I've enjoyed collecting these up and plan to continueLive to egg

@tcampbell let's here more about those skillet cookiesLBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

Just get chocolate chip cookie dough and I use small cask iron skillets put on egg at 350 indirect let cook for about 20/25 minutes.We like them still gooey and not hard,just watch and don't let burn on the bottom.When done put vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate syrup on that hot cookie.we love them that way.
-
Just put chicken legs on medium raised direct.Rubbed with green egg whirly bird(dizzy pig).

BGE made blue ones like 15 years ago. Pretty sure they only sold them in a couple shops in Florida. A brand new never used one was on eBay a year or two ago and sold for $950. Really wish I would have bought it.

I'm fine with the one XL for now.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

I'm jealous...don't know if I'd ever get them all. When I was in the market for an egg i wondered why all these eggheads need more than one?!? Now after owning one for a month and about 20 cooks I understand why. Just really happy I started with the XL. I thought about that decision way too long... LOL But so happy with the big egg.

@Hallfamily so you bought another today? get a good deal on it?Beaufort, SC
