Prep time. Rib Eyes are being preped. I am doing large mushroom caps with a gorgonzola butter sauce and texas toast..It is a beautiful day. Watching the Masters drinking copious amounts of beer and just generally enjoying life...

what is the sauce on top of the steaks?

It is a garlic, gorgonzola cheese sauce..I melted about a tablespoon of butter added about 5 cloves of garlic ..I let that go for a while the I added about 1/2 a cup half and half , then added about a tee spoon of corn starch ,let it thicken stirring all the time.. The last ingredient I added was the gorgonzola cheese..removed the garlic cloves and spooned over the steak and mushroom..onedbguru said:what is the sauce on top of the steaks?Greensboro North Carolina
