I flip flopped the menu.  SWMBO wanted brisket tomorrow.  So that's what's on the agenda.  The golf and beer is the real show.  The food is a lock to be a hit.  Stopped by the butcher on the way home and picked up a very nice looking brisket. Can't wait for tomorrow.

  • Saturday is our anniversary so doing whatever SWMBO wants to do.  She likes golf too so we will get to see some if not all of the action.  Gonna make some homemade bread.  Smoke an eye round and have some roast beef sammies on Sunday.  There may be an adult beverage or two included somewhere.

I bought the bottle of Pappy 20 a couple of years ago with fantasy football winnings for $135.  I've got a good beer/bourbon guy that takes care of me.  The stuff is magical.

  • Wings, sausage and beer on Saturday.  Debating how I will cook the whole chicken on Sunday.  BTW I have been using McCormick 5 pepper seasoning a lot lately on chicken and steak.  Anybody else use this a lot.  I am usually a salt, pepper, and olive oil man with my steaks, but man I added the 5 pepper tonight and it was great.

I took Thursday and Friday off, so all the yard work is done.
    Thursday I did a Tri-Tip..
Friday I did a Peri Peri Spatchcock..
Tonight I have 2x 2inch thick Rib eyes, with cap mushrooms stuffed with gorgonzola cheese, and some Texas toast..
Sunday is up for grabs, but I do have a brisket lurking in the fridge..

Just put an absolutely beautiful brisket on the Egg.  Time to relax, settle in and wait to stream the Live@ from Masters.com to my TV until the broadcast starts.
