Blackened chicken

Went to my local egg er pool store to find some of dizzy pig's new bayouish. No luck. So I found a recipe online for blackening seasoning and gave it a whirl. Ok results. What was topic worthy was the sauce. In a jar with pan fried mushrooms. (Then heated in a pot) Holy crap it was good. Might try it on steaks too.
Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

I was just reading about the bayou-ish today and wanted to give it a try. Anyone had it?

Bayouish is great
On Chicken, and fish. Wonderfully savory, a little heat, and stands up great to a hot cast iron pan.
