It is time for an intervention...you have a serious problemWhich came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

You don't have one of these.

I have all 5 also and if I had to get rid of one I just don't know which one it would be because all of them cook good in their own individual way.I don't mean they cook different but like steaks on the mini taste better to me than all of any of the other eggs.I guess I'm just trying to make excuses because Its surely no need for all 5 of them

Only one here for now..
But I strive to be a multi egg owner some day (soon)Making the neighbors jealous in Pleasant Hill, Ia one cook at a time... -
I'm close with an XL, Large x 2, Small and Mini. Never could justify a Medium due to lack of accessories. Probably will end up with a Mini-Max though. XXL ain't gonna happen for me! At least I don't think it will.

Don't think I do the xxl either.

I was at my local dealer today and they said the xxl is going to be $4000! Any truth to that?
Also that is an impressive family you have there. I have a large and a medium with plans for the mini maxPure Michigan

Congrats on completing the family (for now)! I've been thinking about getting a medium to complete the family (until the XXL & Mini-Max come out). XXL won't happen unless I win the Lottery.XL, Large, Small, Mini Eggs, Shirley Fabrication 24x36 Patio, Humphrey's Weekender, Karubecue C-60, MAK 1-Star General, Hasty Bake Gourmet, Santa Maria Grill, Webers: 14" WSM, 22.5" OTG, 22.5" Kettle Premium, WGA Charcoal, Summit S-620 NG

I have owned them all at one point or another. Gave my parents my medium for their retirement present and wont own a medium ever again. Unloaded my small on Craigslist this morning cause I bought a KJ junior. Now I want a mini max but will probably use the KJ for awhile. There's too many options right now. Probably gonna sell my vision mini not sure why I bought it when I have a mini egg.
-
@Lit How much for the vision mini? I live in McDonough, GA. I'll be in the Canton area next Saturday...

Would probably let it go for $120
-
Lit, why trade the small for a kj jr? Aside from being slightly different weight, aren't they essentially the same?
-
My small egg was old like 20 yrs or so. It was ceramic but it was a lighter green color than new eggs. I got a great deal on the KJ it was $359 with free shipping. The weight and the stand were both factors also and the small was given to me used so it didnt have a warranty. I'm sure I will sell the KJ for a mini max at some point.
-
Welcome to the five club, I joined last summer when I got an XL to complete the herd. I unfortunately also love weber kettles, and those are easy to find because of their popularity. I cant say how many of them I have stashed at home, work, friends, family, and the trunk of my car.
Don't tell my wife.

Lit was that kj the Oval Jr or just the Jr? Oval Jr's are nice... And comparable to the large.Dunedin, FL

At the Sunshine state eggfest last week they had one on display with a sales rep who brought it. He said it was going for 5K.--------------------------------------------------

@yzzi I think the oval junior is the primo right? Haven't seen a KJ oval but I'll stick with round. Seems like a batter chance for hot spots with oval. I saw these the other day and really want one but they are oval. http://www.komodokamado.com/16-5-table-top/
-
Ah, you're right on that. I really like the Oval design. Seems like a little more usable realestate when doing shoulders or a big packer. Not sure what the indirect setup is like on those though so you're probably on to something with the hot spots.Dunedin, FL

That's amazing. I would be curious to hear how often you use all of the different cookers. I get that they all can do different kings more efficiently but I'm not sure I could justify having all of them. I would think a Large or XL and a small would pretty cover any cook you are doing. Just had to ask...Clarendon Hills, IL
