I'll have to give this a try as well. I bought 2 bottles a ways back but have yet to try them. Is that just marinade and marinade alone?
-
Yes. I was surprised how crispy they were. Really good.Eggcelsior said:I'll have to give this a try as well. I bought 2 bottles a ways back but have yet to try them. Is that just marinade and marinade alone?XL,L,SWinston-Salem, NC -

Wow...those look outstanding. I did legs once and they were darn good.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Raised direct or regular level direct? How long did they cook? How long in the marinade?
-
24 hr soak. 275-300 raised direct for just less than an hour. Flip once.KingtUT said:Raised direct or regular level direct? How long did they cook? How long in the marinade?

I have never thought of Allegro on chicken, I don't know why just never crossed my mind. I will try this soon on wings and also on quarters. Great looking cook and thanks for a new idea.Lenoir, N.C.

Looks VERY tasty. I've been using the regular Allegro for a while now and really like it in marinades. I can sure see where to hot version would make some nice wings. Thanks for sharing.

Not too salty. I only let them marinate about 5 hours. I like salt though so ....XL BGE

They soaked 24 hours. I didn't notice a high salt level and didn't get any complaints.konablue50 said:How's the salt level on that marinade?

They were pretty good. The boneless skinless breasts only marinades for 4 hours. I was expecting more heat. 2 breasts marinaded, grilled direct at 375, sliced and layered in a flour tortilla. Add sliced onions, cheddar, and a squeeze of Ranch. Back on the Egg to brown the tortilla and melt the cheese. The kids love them.

May be better on wings. There is less depth to the meat...less to penetrate.sstripes96 said:They were pretty good. The boneless skinless breasts only marinades for 4 hours.
