Screw the weather - I'm Egging

With all the snow and ice lately, haven't fired up the Egg for almost 2 weeks. This is what it looked like a couple days ago
.
Finally cleared a path, and fired it up last night for some pizza. My Egg cried tears of neglect after being heated up. Seems like some moisture made it's way into the ceramic, and mixed with the grease inside, started sweating gunk.

Did a clean burn last night, and wiped it down this morning. Picked up some nice Wet Aged Angus Tenderloins, about 3/4 pound each.

About an hour before getting ready to cook, a big snow squall came through and dumped a couple of inches of fresh powder.

Fired her up and CI seared the steaks.

A little garlic butter to finish them off.

Add some Garlic Cheddar Biscuits, a baked potato and some Green Beans and we have a meal.

Good for you. Weather has been horrible here in NE Indiana as well but for the most part we have kept on egging on the weekends. Did a spatchcock chicken last night and a pizza this evening for dinner.

I never let weather interfere with the decision to egg or not to egg. The answer is always the same... IT'S TIME TO EGG!!!

Way to go! There is no way in hell @henapple would have egged in your weather. It was like 50 with a light breeze and he was crying the whole time. That's the real reason I egged everything on Super Bowl Sunday.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....

Screw the egg. Sometimes it's just too damned cold (wet, windy, etc.) out there!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
