Mini Torch wont light

    Hey Guys,
    I got an Amazen smoker for Christmas and figured I'd do some beef jerky today. Got the Egg ready, packed the Hickory saw dust in the tray, and fueled up the Mini Torch with butane that Amazen sent in the kit. The torch lit once and that is it. I took it outside to light the dust and I cant get it to light to safe my life. I know there is butane in it and I'm getting a spark. When I open the valve on the top there is no hiss of butane. When I press the fill valve on the bottom butane comes out, so I know there is Butane in it. Is it possible to overfill the torch. I read on the butane cylinder where it said to only fill the torch 80 percent full. I have no way of knowing how much is it the torch. The butane cylinder is about the same size as the torch body and most of the butane is gone from the cylinder.

    I held my torch upside down and pressed the butane down on top of it and moved it in a small circular motion. I have a few cigar lighters that act the same way

    Can you light the torch with another flame like a lighter? No hiss likely means that no butane is coming out though.
