It has only been in the last three years that we have tasted -let alone fell in love with the taste of squash. Our favorite seems to be acorn squashs and with the taste kicked to "Godly status" using real butter, maple syrup and pecans. Does anybody have a twist on this that they would like to share? Also, I keep wondering can anything be done with all those seeds like they do with pumpkin seeds- which I've never done before, nor tasted before!

  • RRP,
have you tried spaghetti squash instead of acorn, grill up some chicken breast as a side to the squash.

    RRP,
Since the missus and I have taken up eating healthier, we find quite a lot of vegetables in our lives and I'm always looking for some new way to make them interesting. How about sharing more about how you cook winter squash (acorns, butternut, etc.). Am I assuming (and we all know what that can do) that you cook them on the egg.

  • Chhef Wil,
We do both acorn and spaghetti squash and like them. They are both very flavorful, especially when we use real butter. Might get both next time we go shopping. Of course we also use a lot of yellow crookneck squash too. Squash goes very well with grilled chicken breasts or thighs.[p]Spring "Eat Just About Anything" Chicken
