Grand Mariner Cognac Ham Glaze

Thanks for sharing your rubs with a newbie. I have recently fallen in love with a new ham glaze I created for the holidays. The family loved it.

Take a Pork Shoulder bone in and smoke on the grill studded with whole cloves. I begin applying the glaze about an hour before it is done. It chars a little, but is so good. Be sure to cross hatch the fat with a knife so the glaze can get into the meat a little.

Glaze:
1 jar of orange marmelade (with pieces of fruit)
1 teaspoon of ground cloves
1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 to 3/4 cup of Grand Marnier French Cognac
Put all contents in a small saucepan and reduce over low heat to thicken. Hold back a little and once ham is sliced, pour remaining glaze over the slices.
