Caulk on lower vent

The caulk on the top of my lower vent looks like its coming off. Is there any special high temp caulk I should use?

    It's merely common silicone which means it is high temperature to began with. The best fix though is to remove it by taking out your fire ring and fire box to get access to the four nuts behind the 4 bolts securing it. Clean off the old and apply a bead of new and bolt back on. Some people may take a short cut and just squeeze some more around the edge, but I gave you the long term solution.
