I decided to cook food for Christmas gifts and of course have a little for me too.

    I rarely foil , rib rack or not.  This is the first time I have used the racks.  I decided to try them to avoid the burn over cooked parts that happen when the meat is over open ends of the place setter.  

    I will say they worked very well and will use them again.  

    If you are not hurrying and cooking at high temps turbo style there should be no need to foil while cooking. 

    These cooked 225 for 4.5 hours and rested for 20 minutes before cutting.
