Used Auntie Anne's recipe. Baked at 450 ID. Next time will get the dough roped out a bit thinner.

Oh ya! Used spicy brown mustard, Dijon and a mustard concoction I made up. Can't have appretzel without mustard. Unless its a dessert pretzel.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Love Auntie Anne's. Do these taste any different making them on the egg?

Looks real good! Little butter, little cinnamon. Definitely interested in a recipe if you are willing to share"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

SWVABeanCounter...I actually preferred the taste of these. And most of all it'll make ya think twice about buying a $5-$6 pretzel again. Takes less than a hour start to finish including cleanup.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

...and the saga continues. I thought I was being original until I found out that Auntie Ann's makes pretzel dogs. Damnit! So I stepped it up and also made some pretzel brats. Good stuff! And some dessert pretzels as well.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Second time making dough I had a better feel for it and it was much more elastic so making the rope was seamless. Definitely takes some practice.

@SWVABeanCounter...Thanks! I've only been eggn' since September and have done smoking/slow&low, baking,(pizza, loads of bread, pretzel, Runzas, pies, etc), grilling blah blah. I absolutely love using my LBGE! I will try everything on it (the BGE does it all). :-DLBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Very nicely done!! How'd the Runzas come out on the Egg?I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

@Mike. Runza is a German dish originally. Nebraska with its German heritage took it to the restaurant level. Basically it is a yeast roll pocketed with cabage, onion, beef, pork, or have even seen venison for the meat and some will put in their favorite cheese. I prefer a traditional Runza. And I eat it with a spicy mustard dip drinking my favorite redeye beer and watching football. Preferably the Huskers or Broncos :-D Here's a link to help ya out www.food.com/recipe/runza-80204LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

@Mike...And I also prefer to make the dough myself but, in a pinch I have used Rhodes frozen yeast rolls.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
