Found a Good Cover

Years ago, I had a car cover that was made of a durable cloth that was waterproof, but breathable.  I wanted to find something like that for my LBGE/table set up.  Finally, I ran across this:

For the price, these covers can't be beat.  I did notice, however, that someone is selling this exact cover on ebay for >$100.  They are much cheaper when you order them from the above website.  I am not affiliated with this company, just wanted to share.

I just built a house and had to move the Egg table from the garage to the back deck. How does this cover stack up against the BGE cover? I built my own cypress table and I am sick and tired of rainwater dripping all the coal dust down onto my deck. This is significantly cheaper than the BGE name brand table cover. If it works just as well, I will buy one now.

  • The difference between this and the BGE cover is that this is made of some sort of cloth.  The BGE cover is made from something like vinyl or plastic.  Plus, this cover is much cheaper.
  • Thanks for posting, I'm in need of a cover and this is the lowest price I've seen

Gotta replace my cover too. BGE cover lasted a little over 2 yrs, very disappointing for what it cost.

Looks like a nice cover assuming you have a large Egg.  Be sure to measure the size of your table however to be sure it will fit.

I bought the BGE table cover for my XL.  Only in the first year, but so far holding up.  I did have a leakage problem, so I went over all the seams with clear silicone caulk - problem solved - no more moisture inside.
