BGE Assembly Question

I finally finished my table and installed my large BGE into it.  Because I put a granite like piece beneath the BGE to avoid any embers coming out of the lower vent, I turned the bottom portion of the egg to center the open portion of the vent with the granite (see picture).  Because I turned the bottom, if I lined the top to the bottom per the index dimples, the logo and the thermometer would be offset to the right (because they are centered on the entire length of the vent assembly).  I went ahead and installed the top with the logo and the thermometer in line with the vent opening (i.e.. the dimples did not line up).  Is this a problem?  I thought it through and could not think of any reason why it could be a problem, but I thought I would throw the question out there for the experts.
