First time using my A-Maze-N-Pellet-Smoker - Cheese

Just received my AMNPS this week and burned off the oil earlier. Cheese went on almost an hour ago. If any of you ordered one recently, check to make sure the holes are in the correct location. Something didn't look right on my, compared it to the photos on their site and yep, it was wrong. I called them and they got a batch in that were incorrect. Super customer service, a replacement is on the way. This thing is working like a champ even though lighting it was a bit tricky without the hole where it belonged.
The XL is great for this, I just pushed my used lump to the back and have plenty of room for the AMNPS in the front of the egg.
I'm just using the Oak pellets that came with it for now, anyone have cheap sources for pellets? A variety pack would be nice if someone sells an assortment of 3 lb bags.

Traeger seems to be the best deals from what I've found locally. About a $1/pound.Dunedin, FL

Just had some of the cheese I smoked about 2 weeks ago. This was the last block vacuum sealed. It tasted much better than the one I had a week ago. Time is key here. Definitely worth letting it set.They/Them

So how long did you smoke for? 4 or 6 hr's? Mine just came in yesterday - have to get some pellets. Might check Costco for the Traeger pellets.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

I only did 1.5 hours. Last time was good results, so I went with the same this time. Would have gone longer, but had to get the egg ready for pizzas. Had plenty of unburned pellets left.They/Them
