Hi everyone,
I was doing pizza two nights ago and fried my gasket with my LBGE at 600 degrees.... Egg is about 5-6 years old, so I guess I was lucky not doing it before.
Anyways, I see nomex kits from High-Que, Fred at Tasty-licks, etc and am wondering whose kits come the most highly recommended?
I'd like to buy one in the next day or two...

Check out this site http://www.nakedwhiz.com/infocentral.htm for some gasket insights. And when you decide which way you want to go, if it's Rutland then contact @RRP thru this forum as he provides a great service for members. If Cotronics, the @stlcharcoal is your source. Either way you will end up with a great product and great service. And no affiliation with any of the above-

HiQue nomex self adhesive was the easiest install and works flawless for me. Even hit 900+ with my underbite Dome and still no issues.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html
