I'm jealous of all the other groups- anyone in central NC want to do a charcoal pallet buy?

I'm on the other side, Charlotte. I would be down for 5 of the Rockwood too. What brand are you thinking?

I'm in Charlotte area, I'd go 5 maybe more to make it happen.

Greensboro. We can use where I work as a business address if we need - no dock - as long as it gets picked up that day.

I am in Winston-Salem and would be in for 5 bags at least, depending on the price. 

@wolfpack @highway I will be passing through all said areas on a move back to ATL from DC in early-mid December. In-laws in Weddington, NC. I would be game for 3-5 bags depending upon what you choose, price and accessibility/timing. Put me down as a maybe.

Reading back through the thread, this is what I tallied (names are alphabetical). Question marks are for those who didn't indicate the number of bags they are interested in, a '+' on the end indicates someone who is willing to buy more than the number listed. I get a minimum of 28 bags, likely more.

I would do 3-5 bags depending on the cost per bag.  

I work in the Charlotte area, and I want in on this.  Depending on cost per bag I will buy 5. 

I have talked with Jonathon about pricing shipped to Charlotte.  I also have a dock and a place to store product until pick up.

 

Pricing will be discussed off the board per Jonathon’s request.  We need to respect his other customers and his business before these group buys are gone for good.  We should be happy to get the #1 charcoal well below MSRP and avoid the tax man at the same time.

 

Shipping is more expensive to NC for whatever reason so we will be better off to buy more than one skid (30 bags), looks like we have about 40-45 at the moment.  I know this includes people east of Greensboro but if we can get 2 or more skids the pricing really comes down and might make it worth the drive.  Maybe someone will volunteer to mule it half way???

 

I would like to make the buy no later than Nov 19^th.  This would put product on ground around Nov 21-22.  If you are interested please contact me..  highway@carolina.rr.com
