  • Dr BBQ's Injection recipe worked very well in the flat I cooked last weekend. I'm sure someone on this forum could post the ingredient list.

    ScottinKC,
Have you ever tried dr bbqs? I haven't but, I've read a lot of good things. I trim the brisket, apply cowlick and cover with white sugar overnight. Apply more cowlick in the morning and cook.[p]Good luck.[p]Mike

ScottinKC, I use a simple recipe of 50/50 Dales Sauce and Apple Juice. Works fine for me. Others will chime in with their fav's....one below already ;) Yes, I think an injection makes a Brisket and a Butt better.

  • ScottinKC,[p]I have used the Good Doc's Brisket injection recipe with success. I can't bring myself to inject pork though, or brine poultry. I go out of my way not to purchase solution added pork and poultry products, so why would I want to add salty water or phosphates myself?[p]Clausen
